What we do
Dealing in agri-business, post-harvest storage and transport technologies for food, grains, coffee, oil seeds and other dry commodities. An exclusive representative of grainpro products ‘organic storage systems’ in Uganda since 2010. AGM owns 20,000 Metric tons storage capacity of grain processing plant along Mubende road in Mityana district (10 km from mityana town, mbegu stage, naama village) which acts as a demonstration site for ultra-hermetic technologies. We help grain dealers in drying, sorting, grading, bulk storage facilities, and marketing.
We trade in agricultural products especially grains, oil seeds, coffee, and pulses at global level. We have farmers whom we sign contracts with to produce quality grains to meet the ever increasing market demand regionally. We are the sole distributor of Hermetic storage equipment’s such as grainpro bags, coccons, solar driers, in Uganda and neighboring states such as Rwanda, South Sudan, Burundi and Democratic republic of Congo.
Our Global network of storage, processing allows us to efficiently and effectively provide our customers with a range of commodities, specifications and volumes to suit their individual requirements.
Our Global Markets
We sell commodities that we produce ourselves. But through our marketing business, we also source from an extensive base of third party commodity suppliers, in countries all over the Eat African region.
Our Customers We market to a broad base of agricultural products. We aim to maintain long-term commercial relationships with our customers, who value our scale, reputation and market knowledge, quality and consistent products. Some of the potential clients include the UN-Agency World Food Programme, Government agencies such as Uganda police, Uganda prisons, Uganda people’s defence forces, office of the prime minister, a nd many more NGO’s, large scale poultry product producers, animal feed producers, etc.
Our Assets
At the heart of our marketing business is a network of strategically located assets – allowing us to process, store and transport commodities. These assets include warehouses, silo storage facilities, cocoons, and commodity processing plant of high capacity of 300 tons per day. Our assets are valued to a tune of $2.5M as of audit report June 2024 with total business turnover of $1.21M accordingly.
