1. KENYA INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT AND WAREHOUSING ASSOCIATION (KIFWA)
The Kenya International Freight and Warehousing Association (KIFWA) is the umbrella body of more than one thousand Customs Agents and Freight Forwarders in Kenya, licensed by the Commissioner of Customs and Border Control Department of Kenya Revenue Authority under Section 145 of the East African Community Customs Management Act (EACCMA) 2004. KIFWA is a founder member of Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA), the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) and the African Great Forwarders Association (AGFA). We are also members of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).

1. Promotion and protection of legitimate trade of clearing & forwarding Agents, Freight Agents Warehousemen and such other trade as may be or may become closely allied thereto
2. Promotion of high standard of service by its members to their customers
3. Promotion of adoption of uniform documents and standards and standard terms and conditions of service provided by its members
4. Collection, collate and circulate amongst members’ information and statistics relating to or affecting the business interest of the members
5. Establishment and maintenance of contacts with all partner government organization, bodies or companies the association may consider necessary for the benefit of its members
6. Representation and advocating the views and policies of the association to governments, other authorities, associations and organizations
7. Initiation, promotion, supporting or approval of legislative and other measures affecting or likely to affect the interest of the association
8. Amalgamation, affiliation or coordination with any other organization or subscribe to or become a member of any other organization which would be appropriate and in the interest of the association
9. Enforcement of the code of conduct of the association among its members
10. Formation of such branches, local committees or other bodies as may be deemed desirable
11. Promotion and encouragement of consultations between and amongst members
